Welcome

Chartered in 1986, the OCCPSAA is one of the most dynamic and active chapters in the nation. Boasting 260+ members, our chapter is rapidly expanding and through the help and participation of our chapter members, we are constantly recruiting current PSU students and alumni in the Orange County and Inland Empire area.

We Are!

... proud to announce that in 2010 we became the first chapter in history to reach a $100,000 endowment. Additionally, we had the pleasure of awarding scholarships totaling $8000 to 8 students this year! On behalf of the OCCPSAA members we welcome and encourage you to come see who we are and what we’re about.

The Chapter was founded circa 1982-83 by a small group of Los Angeles chapter members who were tired of driving to L.A. to attend chapter events. Dick Jantzer ’63 was the OCCPSAA’s first President. He has been a Board Member ever since and has served as the chapter President & Treasurer, and has held nearly every role on the Board of Directors. The Chapter was chartered on November 11, 1986 under the name “The Penn State Club of Orange County-Inland Empire”. Every year we celebrate our birthday with cake at a November Football TV viewing party. (Since then, Penn State changed all “Clubs” to “Chapters.”)
